Fécamp, on the Alabaster Coast, is surrounded by the tallest cliffs in Normandy, which offer a unique, uninterrupted view of the chalk needles of Étretat.

The Bénédictine Palace, an example of Fécamp’s rich past, and where the famous liqueur Bénédictine is made, contains a museum housing collections of religious paintings as well as a number of contemporary exhibitions.

The New Territories Fishing Museum reveals the fascinating history of the great fishing expeditions undertaken to the icy waters around Newfoundland in search of giant cod. Also worth a visit whilst in Fécamp, is the gothic Abbey Church of Sainte Trinité, classified as a Historic Monument, the Ducal Palace, which was built between the 10th and 12th centuries, and the Church of Saint-Étienne, which is also known as the Church of Sailors.
